Ariana Grande has been added to the list of performers who will pay tribute to Aretha Franklin at her funeral in Detroit on Friday.
Grande's representative said the singer met Franklin when they performed at the White House in 2014 for then President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.
The God Is A Woman hitmaker joins a line-up of esteemed performers for Franklin's funeral including Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, Chaka Khan and Jennifer Hudson.

Friday's service at the Greater Grace Temple will conclude a week of events in Detroit, which has included her body lying in repose at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History so fans could pay their respects.
Grande's emotional tribute performance of Franklin's Natural Woman on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon went viral after the singer's death.
Franklin died on August 16 at the age of 76 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
