Ireland's Eurovision hopeful Ryan O'Shaughnessy has been taking in the sights in the Portuguese resort of Estoril ahead of his performance on the first semi-final on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old Dubliner, who is representing Ireland with his song Together, performed a rooftop gig during a reception held by the Swedish Delegation, Swedish embassy and Swedish broadcaster SVT on Friday.

After second rehearsals yesterday, Ryan visited the historic LX Factory, where his mother, Janet, bought him a good luck rock `n' roll teddy bear, which has become the Irish team mascot and which, naturally, already has its own Instagram page.

Ryan joins Ray D’Arcy via Skype on Saturday night on RTÉ One and is also set to perform at an Israeli party ahead of Sunday's Eurovision grand opening ceremony on the blue carpet.
