Daniel O'Donnell and his wife Majella were the talk of the nation after appearing on Room to Improve on RTÉ on Sunday night.
The 56-year-old Donegal singer and Majella hoped to do a modest revamp of their home in Kincasslagh, west Donegal, but the project turned out to be more elaborate and expensive than originally planned.
Not surprisingly, the highly entertaining episode, which included Daniel getting frustrated over bathrooms and secret doors that aren't actually a secret, is the highest performing episode of the show in its history, winning an audience of 722,000.
Adrian Lynch, Director of Audiences, Channels and Marketing said: 'When we heard Daniel and Majella were on board for the Dermot treatment, we knew we had a real treat in store for our viewers.
"The return of Room to Improve makes another fantastic addition to our bumper weekend schedule, which viewers are enjoying in huge numbers."
Viewers took to social media in their droves to comment on the episode:
Hands down the most entertaining #roomtoimprove for a long time! Majella is so natural, and bloody hysterical!

I’m actually sad that episode is over. Can we just have Daniel and @Majodonnell renovating something every week? Next week: the ensuite. #roomtoimprove

O'Donnell recently told RTÉ Entertainment he was "a bit irate" when he and wife Majella first started working with Bannon to transform their house.
