The promo for Saoirse Ronan's upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live has arrived, and it looks like the glowing Lady Bird reviews may have gone to her head.
In the tongue-in-cheek clip, the Irish actress is gazing out the window from the NBC office in New York at the crowds below.
She tells SNL castmember Cecily Strong: "My God, this is so exciting. All these people have come out to see me", with a dreamy smile.
Strong has to burst her bubble, saying: "I think they're here for the [Christmas] tree lighting".
But Ronan is not be be dissuaded. "Oh no, I don’t think they are. You can see all the little elves down there, Santa's little helpers, they've come out", she says.
"Those are just people", Strong responds. "They’re far away, so they look small."
