Britain's Got Talent and Diversity star Ashley Banjo has joined the judging panel of the revamped Dancing on Ice.

Banjo joins the previously confirmed Torvill and Dean and Jason Gardiner when the show returns in the New Year.

Speaking about joining the panel Banjo said: "I'm going to be myself, be constructive, and just be ready for Jason!

"I'm going to be honest. If someone is great, I'll tell them they're great. If people need telling that it was bad, I'll tell them."

The hurdler and sprinter - a silver medallist at the World Championships in London in August - was the tenth celebrity to be announced for the show earlier today.

"It is an opportunity and I was told in the past I'd never be able to run again and that was not nice to be told..." said Shakes-Drayton.

"Now the fact my body feels good... I've been given a challenge, an opportunity - I'm going to go give it my best shot."

"I came across Kem from Love Island and we saw each other at the ice rink," she added.

"He saw my skills, I saw his skills... I'm better than him. I'm most excited about the costumes!"
