Game of Thrones cast cry over final episode

Kit Harington the actor who plays Jon Snow in Game of Thrones has revealed that he and his castmates cried after reading the script for the final episode.

Speaking on BBC's The One Show he said:"I cried at the end. You have to remember that eight years of it - no one really cares about it more than us."

The fantasy TV series which is expected to end on its eighth season also stars Emilia Clarke, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage

He said: It's going to be a strange year saying goodbye to everyone and having last scenes with this person and that person,

Not only are you attached to it, loads of people around the world are attached to it."

The actor recently revealed that he is looking forward to the series ending so that he can embark on other roles.

Speaking to Digital Spy during the week, Harington said, "It will be liberating, just the thought of having a whole year free - you shoot for six months, but half of the projects you might want to do will have started shooting before that six months is over.

"There's a lot of things you can't do. I'm looking forward to finishing, and eight years is the right amount of time. I wouldn't want it to go on any longer than it has. I have other ideas I'd like to look at producing.''

Kit Harington recently announced his engagement to Rose Leslie who played Ygritte who he met on the set but who left the series in 2014.
