Ed Sheeran fans and Game of Thrones devotees alike are eagerly awaiting the singer-songwriter's cameo in the upcoming seventh season, but the Shape of You star is being typically humble about the part.
It was confirmed in March that Sheeran would be making a guest appearance on the HBO fantasy show, and later it was revealed his scene was with Maisie Williams, aka Arya Stark.

The 26-year-old musician is now at pains to downplay his cameo appearance, saying "nothing exciting happens in it".
Speaking to US show Entertainment Tonight about his much-hyped visit to the Seven Kingdoms, Sheeran said: "I haven't seen it yet! I just know the scene I did, I did with Maisie [Williams], and it's decent. I like it."
He added humbly: "Nothing exciting happens in this scene - we just have a conversation and that's kind of it."

Sheeran also admitted that he feels his cameo "has been built up too much".
"People will just be like, 'Oh... oh, all right,'" he said jokingly. "It's not an integral part of it at all. I'm just like, in it."
Thrones stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Kit Harington previously promised that the pace of the action will ramp up considerably in season seven of the show.
Game of Thrones returns to Sky Atlantic on July 17.
