Harry Styles re-enacted some classic rom com scenes while taking part in the latest Carpool Karaoke segment with James Corden, including the iconic "I'm just a girl standing in front of a boy asking him to love her" scene from Notting Hill.

This marks Styles' second time helping The Late Late Show host Corden get to work, having first taken part with his One Direction bandmates before their indefinite hiatus began.

Kicking the drive off with Styles' single Sign of the Times, the pair drove around Los Angeles singing along to a mixture of his solo songs and some classic hits by other artists, including a brilliant duet of Endless Love by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross.

Bringing up Styles' big screen debut in Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk, Corden asked the singer what his favourite rom com was. Styles replied, "I think The Notebook... I feel like I should say my favourite movie is like Fight Club or something, but it's just not." Aww.

Review: Harry Styles debut album

Channelling the Justin Bieber Carpool Karaoke, Corden and Styles also tried on a number of outfits in the car, with Corden marvelling at how Styles can make anything look cool.

The segment comes as Styles takes part in a week-long residency on The Late Late Show with James Corden, which has seen the star perform a new song from his debut solo album each night.

Styles has also taken part in a number of sketches and has opened the show with a dad joke heavy monologue - check his comic timing.
