Following last year’s success, the growing global community of professional smartphone content creators are once again making Galway their home as MojoFest in association with RTÉ – the global conference that’s much more than just a conference – returns to the west.

Mojofest, which runs until May 31st, brings 30+ speakers and 300+ delegates to the Bailey Allen Hall at NUI Galway to discuss the cutting-edge in mobile journalism, mobile content creation, mobile photography and new technologies. This year's Mojofest in association with RTÉ is also hosting the first ever International MojoFest Awards, featuring 15 prize categories that acknowledge the pioneers and innovators in the global mojo movement.
Glen Mulcahy, Founder of Mojofest (and former Head of Innovation with RTÉ) said: "In a short time, Mojo has established itself as a major content creation movement spanning not just media, but NGO’s, SME’s, education and more. This year mojo reached a significant milestone event when Hollywood director, Stephen Soderbergh filmed the feature film Unsane using an iPhone. Not only does Mojofest have broad appeal by attracting top industry storytellers and hosting engaging and informative workshops, but we really look after our delegates. This creates a supportive environment that allows us to learn from each other.
MojoFest runs until 31st May - follow #mojofest on Twitter for the latest updates.
