From the current Covid pandemic to such horrific past occurrences as wars and acts of terrorism, traumatic events can have long-lasting impacts on our mental health. In the latest episode of the Brainstorm show on RTÉ Radio One, presenter Ella McSweeney and guests Orla Muldoon (University of Limerick and Irish Research Council) and Mark Maguire (Maynooth University and Irish Research Council) look at what is trauma and how we deal with it.
