It's time for more Brainstorm on the radio

The second episode of the Brainstorm radio show will be on air next Sunday, December 9, at 6pm on RTÉ Radio 1.

This initial four week series will look at such topics as the impact of the internet on our lives, politics and society, lifestyle and what the biggest problems in Ireland are at the moment.

Sunday's show will feature contributions from Brainstorm contributors Alacoque McAlpine (DIT), Maura Farrell (NUI Galway), Robbie Butler (UCC), Mary McGill (NUI Galway), Catherine Norton (University of Limerick) and Malie Coyne (NUI Galway). 

The show will be presented by Fionnuala Sweeney. A former RTÉ journalist, Fionnuala was an anchor of prime time news programmes at CNN International and was a member of Emmy Award and Peabody Award-winning teams. She is is currently Communications Director with the Atlantic Institute in partnership with the Rhodes Trust at the University of Oxford and an Atlantic Fellow with the Global Brain Health Institute at Trinity College Dublin

The show is produced by Zbyszek Zalinski and the editor is RTE Brainstorm editor Jim Carroll. Research is by Louise Denvir and the show's reports are compiled by Liam Geraghty
