Anna May McHugh, Ploughing Festival Organiser for over 40 years, talks about transforming an empty field into the countries biggest agricultural event.
Laois woman Anna May McHugh is back in county Laois for the annual Ploughing Competition, which she has been organising for over 40 years.
Ear to the Ground reporter Maireád McGuinness was at the Ploughing Competition where she met Anna May and many who know and respect her. Fine Gael TD and Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, Ivan Yates, was also in attendance and spoke of the hard work Anna May puts in to organising the festival.
Anna May talks about organising the event, meeting the dignitaries, and making the festival a success.
