Father John Friel of Strabane said it was sad some people could gloat over the loss of human life. He was speaking at the funeral of Alex Patterson the 31-year-old Irish National Liberation Army (INLA) man shot dead on Monday by British troops who foiled an attack on the home of an Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) member at Victoria Bridge in County Tyrone.

Report shows funeral cortege and interview with Father John Friel.
