The funeral has taken place in County Tyrone of Albert Cooper, a part-time Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) man killed by the Irish Republican Army (IRA) in Cookstown. Archbishop Robin Eames told mourners that terrorists on both sides were the naked face of evil, and appealed to politicians to seek political progress to save lives.
