In the first move of its kind, Dublin County Council will give full environmental protection to the famous Strawberry Beds area on the banks of the Liffey. A special amenity area order has been confirmed for the Liffey Valley between Lucan Bridge and Palmerstown, which includes the Strawberry Beds.
