Haughey holding press conference and stating that, in his opinion, it is a 'political red herring'. He points out that the application for an injunction was rejected and says that case has no effect on the holding of the Election.

Interview with Alan Dukes, Leader, Fine Gael, who says there may well be a constitutional crisis. He says that a Government Bill to amend the constituency boundaries was defeated and the government has failed to take any further action.
