A new Faculty of Nursing opens at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.
Miss MF Crowley, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, explains that this new facility will help the state registered nurse who wishes to become a specialist in a particular field. This will be a new means for the Royal College of Surgeons to offer education to nurses.
Nurses should take out degrees in the same college as the surgeons.
M F Crowley believes this reinforces the role of the nurse as a member of the healthcare team.
