The Cheltenham Gold Cup is the most sought after trophy in national hunt racing and is the highlight of the racing calendar.

With a prize fund of over £74,000, Colm Murray reports from Cheltenham prior to the race.

There is only one Irish trained horse represented. Cahervillahow is trained by Mouse Morris and ridden by Charlie Swan. However, Cahervillahow came in thirteenth with Irish-bred, British-trained 'Jodami' taking the grand prize.
