The sixth season of Mad Men starts on April 7 in the US and network AMC has issued a poster which may drop some intriguing hints as to what's in store for desperate Maddicts everywhere.
The series returns to US TV screens with a two-hour episode and Sky Atlantic has confirmed to RTÉ Ten that they'll follow soon after.

Earlier this year, series creator Matthew Weiner confirmed to The Daily Beast that this will be the penultimate season of Mad Men and that the new series will feature a time jump but not the five year leap taken by Desperate Housewives.
"I am going to skip ahead in time," Weiner said. "I won't say how long, but the first two episodes are a movie unto themselves. And they do foreshadow what's going to happen in the season. They do tell a story of the period and root you where you are in these people's lives. But a lot has changed when the season opens up. A lot has changed."
We say enough with the teasing already! In an exercise that might please rising advertising maven Peggy Olsen, we here at RTÉ Ten have spent long minutes studying the season six poster for clues.
We see Don striding purposefully forward down a New York street but he is momentatily distracted and perplexed by what seems to be his doppleganger walking in the other direction. Is this Don striking out for the future but constantly being reminded that one day his murky past will catch up with him?
Don is hand in hand with a women but which one? His fraught marriage to Megan went through a lot of trouble last time so has he gotten back with first wife, Betty?
The poster, which The New York Times reports was inspired by Matthew Weiner's memories of 1960s' magazines and travelogues, also features enough street signage to confuse even a cool custumer like Don. And what about the cops? New York's finest are everywhere in the picture - are they dealing with the social unrest that took place in the city in 1968 or have they finally caught up with Draper? And does that jumbo looming in the background have any significance?
Plenty of food for thought there. What do you reckon Maddicts?
