The original line-up of the Sugababes are well on their way to making their comeback, having announced their brand new name, Mutya Keisha Siobhan.
The three-piece have set up a Twitter and Facebook profile in their new name and posted the first snaps of the reunited band.
Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy have reformed their original band, which formed the line-up of the Sugababes between 1998 and 2001. Donaghy left the band in 2001, later replaced by Heidi Range.
In 2005 Buena could not fulfill her promotional duties with the band and left, being replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Berrabah, Range and original Sugababes Buchanan continued in their line-up until Buchanan was sensationally kicked out of the band in September 2009. The current Sugababes line-up consists of Heidi Range, Amelle Berrabah and Jade Ewen.

In their first official interview as a revived band, Mutya Keisha Siobhan sat down with Popjustice. Though the full interview has yet to be published, the band cleared up a few rumours. The order of their names in the band title has no deeper meaning, with Donaghy commenting "People seem to say it in that order quite naturally. It seems to roll off the tongue like that".
Speaking about Buchanan's sacking as the only original member of the group, she commented "I was really shocked by the things that they were saying because I’d always been there for them, and they were there for me as well… But, you move on, and you learn, and I learned valuable life lessons during that period… I feel like everything has gone full circle and right now I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. And I genuinely wish them the best of luck."

The girls claim they nearly reunited in 2009, just after Buchanan left the band. "It was only three months after I’d left the Sugababes. So we decided not to do it. And then last year, in 2011, we were contacted by a producer" Buchanan added.
New music from the band is expected later this year.
