Coronation Street's Chris Gascoyne has said that he would like Peter and Leanne to reunite again in the future.
Gascoyne’s character Peter had an affair and later a relationship with factory owner Carla Connor last year.
Speaking to this week's TV Times Gascoyne said: "I think [Peter and Leanne should get back together]. Peter can't carry on chasing women and robbing banks forever.
"It's hard work and I'm getting too old for it! Leanne gave him stability in his life and maybe that's what he needs."

Meanwhile, the 44-year-old actor said his alter ego's son Simon could become a rebellious teenager in a few years' time, adding: "On this show, yeah definitely!
"He could follow in his dad's footsteps, and they'll have to do all the same storylines again a few years down the line, or maybe he could buck the trend and end up going to university."
