Former X-Factor contestant Misha B is hoping to collaborate with Missy Elliot for her debut album.
The 20-year-old singer will release her debut single Home Run on July 15 after signing to record label Relentless Records earlier this year.
Misha B apparently asked her management to set up a duet with Missy Elliot after the US rapper praised her on Twitter last December.
A source told The Sun: "It's easy to tell from Misha's music and rapping style that she is a huge Missy fan.
"Misha's album is coming together but the ultimate dream is to persuade her idol to contribute. She's hoping her management can hook it up."
Misha B, who was eliminated in the semi-finals of The X-Factor, previewed her new track on a free mixtape Why Hello World, which was made available to download last month.
