It has been announced that Brad Pitt is the first male face of Chanel's classic No.5 fragrance.
US website E! Online first reported that the Hollywood star had been signed up to appear in a commercial for the scent. A source told E! News that the actor will be shooting his first fragrance advertisement in London sometime this week.
The French luxury brand have confirmed the news with a press release featuring a photograph of the actor, shot by Greg Williams.
Pitt is said to have signed a seven figure deal for the Chanel No.5 ad, which is set to be released later this year.
Actress Nicole Kidman became the face of the scent in 2003, while Catherine Deneuve, Lauren Hutton, Ali MacGraw and Estella Warren have also represented the fragrance.
