A woman has been charged with aggravated harassment after she was accused of stalking Alec Baldwin.
The 40-year was arrested in Manhattan, in front of the 30 Rock star’s Upper West Side apartment, and was in jail last night awaiting arraignment according to CNN.
Genevieve Sabourin, who works in the Canadian film industry, went to Baldwin's home in the Hamptons on March 31, the weekend that the 54-year-old actor proposed to girlfriend, Hilaria Thomas (28). Later that evening she attended a screening of Last Tango in Paris, where Baldwin was featured on a Q&A panel, according to the multiple reports.
Sabourin has reportedly written the actor emails and texts declaring her love and requesting money.
A New York police spokesperson told TMZ.com that when Sabourin appeared at Baldwin's Manhattan apartment building on Sunday night and asked to be let in, the doorman notified Baldwin in the Hamptons. Police arrested Sabourin shortly afterward.
