Lindsay Lohan has received a barrage of negativity, mainly on social networking site Twitter, over her hosting job on last night's Saturday Night Live in America.
Users and celebrities alike took to the microblogging site to vent their opinions on her sub-standard hosting. Many users pinpointed her reliance on cue cards .
To make matters worse, the actress stated earlier in the week that with hosting the show, she would "prove herself" to everyone else and to all her critics. She even boasted that she would sing the opening number herself.
The 24-year-old actress used the various skits in the comedy show to embrace her bad-girl reputation and turned Disney princesses into the 'Real Housewives'.
Jack White also appeared on the show as a musical guest.
