He has starred alongside some of Hollywood's finest, from Megan Fox to Jon Hamm, but for his next project Chris O'Dowd plans to turn his attention to working with some new talent closer to home - his brother.

Set to debut his new Sky comedy series, Moone Boy, in 2012, and with a sitcom called Big Men to write for NBC, the Roscommon man has revealed that he plans to write a film with his brother John as soon as his hectic schedule allows.

Speaking to the Irish Daily Mail newspaper about working with his brother, he said: "It is going to be a nightmare. No, it's going to be great, you know?

"As generally happens, he'll do the work and I'll take the credit."

The film, entitled Adventures of Super Frank, is described as an offbeat comic road trip and is loosely based on John O'Dowd's travels in Australia.
