Will Young wants to take a career break, but says his busy work schedule won't allow him.
The singer and actor revealed that he would love to take a year off work, but due to work commitments, he can only take a three month holiday.
Speaking to BANG showbiz he said: "I want to take three months off at least. Ideally, I want to take a year off, but I don't know if I can, so three months."
He added: "I absolutely love taking time off. It's really important. After a few days off, it's amazing how lazy you can become.
"It's slightly terrifying. I used to have a problem switching off, but now I don't have a problem at all."
The Jealously singer explained that he is looking forward to visiting some of his favourite places during his time off.
Young said: "I like travelling, I like going to see different places, so it's still interesting. My favourite continent is Africa. I think the people of the Cameroon are amazing and beautiful.
"Namibia is stunning, and Mozambique is really beautiful, so it would be hard to pick between those three. They're just amazing people in Africa. I'm hoping to go again. There's something really magical about Africa."
He further pitched in: "I want to go whale watching, I think it would be amazing.
"I want to see the Northern Lights, but I don't know if I'll get the chance because you've only got until March so I don't know if I'll have time. I want to do one trip to somewhere, Scandinavia, the Arctic, that sort of area."
