Actress Lindsay Lohan has been praised by a judge in a US court. The actress appeared at L.A. Superior Court yesterday morning and was praised for complying with the terms of her probation.

The actress who is on the cover of Playboy was told by Judge Stephanie Sautner that she is "doing well" with her court-ordered community service and therapy dates stemming from her theft case in May.

"You have actually done the work," Sautner told the actress. "And done it not only on time, but early." Lohan had been ordered to complete 12 days of community service at the L.A. County morgue and four psychotherapy sessions.

The actress must complete 12 more days of community service and four more days of therapy before her January progress hearing. The judge insisted that Lindsay must attend the hearing otherwise, according to Sautner, "she won’t complete anything. I’d like to believe she would, but I think she likes to come here and see me... I think that’s a motivation for her."
