Former X Factor contestant Misha B is reported to have been approached to star in a West End production of The Bodyguard.
The 19-year-old singer - eliminated in the show's semi-final last Sunday (December 4) - is set to feature in a stage adaptation of the 1992 movie in the role made famous by Whitney Houston.
"Lots of people have been considered from Alexandra Burke to Leona Lewis, but Misha is top of the list," a source is quoted at Digital Spy. "Her not making The X Factor final was a blessing in disguise for those involved with the show."
It has also been claimed that Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow is in the running to take on the bodyguard role played by Kevin Costner.
Misha B performed Houston's I Have Nothing from The Bodyguard on The X Factor's Movie Week in late November.
