Strictly's Artem keeps fans guessing

Valance and Chigvintsev – Back together for Wembley?

Strictly Come Dancing fans will have to wait until Saturday to find out if Artem Chigvintsev returns to the dance floor with partner Holly Valance.

The professional, who suffered a joint and soft tissue injury to his back, was replaced by Brendan Cole for last week's show, which resulted in a score of 34 for his and Valance's Rumba.

Chigvintsev has continued to choreograph the routines and has been on hand at rehearsals.

A show spokesman said: "He is making good progress and has been dancing some sections in rehearsals but he will make a final decision on Saturday."

Cole, however, appeared to suggest that Chigvintsev would return when he wrote on Twitter: "Now that we know Artem is back in the game with Holly, maybe I'm no longer necessary."

Valance said she would be happy dancing with either man at the Wembley Arena show on Saturday.

"You know what, there's no short straw," she said. "Both of them are just wonderful and so talented. Saturday night's going to be a huge show because we're playing Wembley to 6,000 people, so either way it's going to be massive."

She joked that Chigvintsev would not get an easy time when he returned.

"I'm going to be much meaner," she said.

"No, he's awesome and he's the technician and such an unbelievable talent."

In other Strictly news, favourite Harry Judd has been added to the line-up of next year's live tour. Anita Dobson and Robbie Savage from this year's series are also to take part in addition to Jason Donovan, Nancy Dell'Olio and Chelsee Healey, who have already been announced.
