Despite reports yesterday that the woman claiming that singer Justin Bieber is the father of her four-month-old baby had dropped her claim, it seems the saga is not at an end just yet.

The lawyer representing 20-year-old Mariah Yeater has said that he is still negotiating a DNA test with the singer’s legal team, according to TMZ.

Jeffrey Leving said terms surrounding the DNA test are being arranged and said that Yeater had dismissed her earlier lawsuit to allow for the situation to be dealt with privately.

The popstar had denied all the claims and had said he does not know the woman who claims she had met Bieber briefly backstage at a show in the Staples Center in Los Angeles in October of last year.

Speaking on television about the alleged meeting Yeater said “He immediately took a liking to me. We just got to talking.”

Bieber said on the Today show "I would just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true. I know that I'm going to be a target but I'm never going to be a victim."
