R&B singer Rihanna has followed Monday’s filming in Bangor with an appearance in Belfast’s New Lodge area to shoot more scenes for her new video.
On Monday DUP Alderman Alan Graham was out in his Bangor field in his tractor when he saw Rihanna peeling off some of her clothes for the music video to accompany her new single, We Found Love, and he requested that filming be stopped.
A reporter for the Belfast Telegraph yesterday asked the singer, real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty: “Rihanna, what do you think of the DUP farmer and what he had to say to you?”
To which Rihanna replied: “He was great.”
Yesterday the multi-million selling artist filmed the next segment of her latest video in amongst the New Lodge flats and she was mobbed by fans between takes.
The singer arrived shortly after noon, accompanied by police officers, security guards and her entourage of hairdressers, stylists, make-up artists and personal assistants.
According to the BBC up to 1,000 fans of all ages packed into the local square, known as ‘the Grotto' and a loud cheer went up as Rihanna stepped out of a black people carrier.
Rihanna is set to perform in Dublin's O2 Arena on Monday October 3 following three dates in Belfast's Odyssey arena.
