It started with Gary Barlow saying that he “is sick” of Adele songs being belted out on The X-Factor, and now a Dublin music shop has banned customers from playing the 23-year-old singer's ballads in their store.
According to the London Independent, a sign in the window of a Dublin music store informs musicians testing out the keyboards “Strictly NO Adele.”
Speaking about the new store rule, Warren a staff member at Opus II, said: "It's become the piano equivalent of Stairway To Heaven. Everyone thinks they can play it."
He added: "The sign was a bit of a joke, but the song can drive you mad."
The Someone Like You singer will play a second night at the Hammersmith Apollo tonight, before moving on to the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday.
