The death storyline of one of Coronation Street's most popular new characters has reportedly been revealed.

The Mirror reports that killer John Stape (Graeme Hawley) will crash his car into the back of a truck while he is being chased by Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell).
The paper says that Hawley was seen on set during filming with fake blood running from his ear.
Following the crash, Stape will reportedly confess on his deathbed that he is a killer and that his jailed wife Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) is innocent.
