Two acclaimed new Irish movies, Parked and Sensation, are to be released in October and November respectively.
Directed by Darragh Byrne, Parked stars Colm Meaney, Colin Morgan and Milka Ahlroth and tells the story of Fred (Meaney), a man who returns home to Ireland with nowhere to live but his car.
He befriends Cathal (Morgan), a troubled young man who parks near him, and falls for Jules (Ahlroth), a music teacher who lives nearby. Parked will be released on Friday October 14.
Parked's release will be followed by that of director Tom Hall's Sensation on Friday November 4.
Sensation tells the story of Donal Duggan (Domhnall Gleeson), an unlucky-in-love farmer who meets Kim (Luanne Gordon), a sex worker from New Zealand and discovers that "a soulless contract develops into a thwarted romance and finally a story of hard-won self discovery".
