Francesco Quinn (48), the son of Hollywood legend Anthony, died suddenly at the weekend.
Quinn, who starred in Platoon and long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless, collapsed on the street near his Malibu home on Friday.
A neighbour tried to revive the father of three but to no avail. "We were working feverishly at it," the neighbour told local website, Malibu Patch. "But at a certain point it turned, and there was no response."
Francesco, who was born in Rome in 1962, was one of 13 children fathered by Quinn, the star of such Hollywood classics as Zorba the Greek and Lawrence of Arabia. He also appeared in a number of TV shows including NCIS, ER and 24.
He is survived by his wife Valentina Castellani-Quinn and three children. “Francesco was my soulmate and the best father for Sofia, Michela and Max,” Valentina told Malibu Patch. “I will love him forever.”
