Rugby legend Peter 'The Claw' Clohessy has become the first contestant to go through to the Grand Final of RTÉ One's Charity ICA Bootcamp.
On Sunday night's show, Clohessy was pitted against Operation Transformation's Dr Eva Orsmond, former Green Party TD Paul Gogarty and model and burlesque performer Emma Quinlan.
Clohessy won two of the cooking challenges, showed he needs to work on his design skills with an outfit made from sackcloth and charmed the ICA judges with his singing.
He goes through to the Grand Final (August 16, 17 and 20) with €20,000 for his chosen charity, AWARE, while the losing contestants each receive €5,000 for their chosen charities.
Clohessy said: "I'm very competitive, so I'm delighted to win. I can't wait to go back to An Grianán and go up against the other three finalists. It's great fun and all for charity. I would love if people supported me during the live finals. AWARE is a brilliant charity and does great work for those in need."
The second episode of Charity ICA Bootcamp is on RTÉ One tomorrow night, Tuesday August 9, at 9.35pm.
