Jo (Rachel Sarah Murphy) has a surprise for lover Tommy (Geoff Minogue) in Fair City at 8.00pm on RTÉ One tonight, Thursday July 28.

She uses money from her joint account with husband Dermot (Séamus Power) to book a hotel for herself and Tommy.
Tommy arrives at the hotel, thinking he has been called out for work, and is sent up to a room by staff.
When he knocks on the door, Jo greets him and he is shocked by her scheming.
However, there are problems afterwards when Jo has to 'pay' Tommy £100 so that he can go back to his boss with the money he has been paid on his 'job'.
Then, when Jo goes to pay for the room she doesn't have enough money, and has to borrow from Tommy, who is annoyed that members of the hotel staff think he is a male escort.
Commenting on tonight's episode, actress Murphy said: "Jo is absolutely loving every moment of this affair. She is really falling for Tommy and is doing whatever she can to get some time with Tommy. But while she is off having fun, poor Dermot is at home worrying about the finances."
