Pierce Brosnan has joined the miniseries Bag of Bones.
The former James Bond star will play a novelist in American cable channel A&E's adaptation of the Stephen King horror novel.
'Bag of Bones' centres on an author who - four years after the death of his wife - begins to suffer from nightmares about the couple's lake house in rural Maine. He ultimately decides to move to the house in order to confront his fears.
Annabeth Gish – who impressed alongside Jason Jason Isaacs, Jason Clarke, Fionnula Flanagan and Brían F O’Byrne in Showtime drama ‘Brotherhood’ - is also due to star in the project.
Pierce Brosnan previously signed on to a new romantic comedy from Academy Award-winning Danish director Susanne Bier entitled ‘All You Need is Love’.
