Johnny Depp, Steve Carell and Sting have been confirmed for cameo roles in Ricky Gervais's new comedy series Life's Too Short.
Gervais and Stephen Merchant, who created The Office and Extras, have teamed up for the new show which has been described as a "naturalist observational comedy".
The sitcom follows the life of dwarf actor Warwick Davis.
BBC Comedy has confirmed rumours that Depp and Sting will appear in the new show, and revealed that star of the US version of The Office Steve Carell will also make an appearance.
Gervais and Merchant will also appear in minor roles throughout the series.
A teaser video for the show has been released featuring Extras stars Keith Chegwin, Les Dennis and Shaun Williamson.
