RTÉ 2fm has announced details of its most extensive coverage of the Oxegen festival, which this year will feature an integrated radio, web and TV production live from the festival for the first time.
The station's Oxegen website will feature video interviews, acoustic sessions, webcam streams and video blogs, which will also appear on RTÉ Ten, RTÉ.ie, RTÉ 2fm’s Youtube channel, and, for the first time, on RTÉ Television via News Now, the new 24 rolling news channel.
RTÉ 2fm will also be providing almost 30 hours of live music on radio from the festival, which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, Co Kildare from 8 to 10 July.
Fans can avail of an online, seven-day catch-up service of performances from the main stages.
RTÉ 2fm's coverage begins on Friday 8 July with Ruth Scott and Paddy McKenna broadcasting live from the festival, with Cormac Battle, Dave Fanning, Jenny Greene, Dan Hegarty and Jenny Huston also presenting and interviewing the stars over the course of the weekend.
