RTÉ has confirmed that the Craig Doyle-hosted satirical show 'The Panel' will not be returning for a new series.
An RTÉ spokesperson said: "I can confirm that 'The Panel' won’t be returning to our screens this autumn. The show has enjoyed nine seasons, the first six on RTÉ Two and the three most recent on RTÉ One.
"We’d like to thank 'The Panel' team who delivered many hours of enjoyable and entertaining programming to us over those seasons. We look forward to working with them again in the future. While very successful during its run, we believe that it is time to bring something new to the audience this autumn.
"I can confirm that Craig Doyle will be back in the autumn on RTÉ Television."
