Beady Eye singer Liam Gallagher has said he wants Johnny Depp to star in the film he is producing about the Beatles and their company, Apple Corps.
In an interview in the new issue of Q magazine, Gallagher says he wants Depp to play Derek Taylor, the Beatles' long-time publicist, in the film, which is based on Richard DiLello's book 'The Longest Cocktail Party'.
Gallagher says: "Derek Taylor was a dude. He's up there with Lennon.
"The film script is done. It's gonna blow people's minds, man. I'm just waiting to find out when we choose the actors.
"I want Johnny Depp to play Derek Taylor. It's got Johnny Depp written all over it, man."
