Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora has checked himself into rehab for substance abuse, according to reports.
The star has battled addiction for years and has already spent time in a Utah treatment facility for his problems.
American web site TMZ says that Sambora has decided to seek professional help to quell his dependency issues.
Bon Jovi are due to perform as part of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage festival on April 30th.
