Jedward’s Olympia Show tonight will go ahead with 19-year-old John Grimes seated in a wheelchair.

The 'Lipstick' star sprained his ankle last Wednesday at Wexford Opera House after a bad fall onstage.

A spokesperson for the twins told the Irish Independent: "John and Edward will be doing all the dates left on the Irish tour, but with John in a wheelchair this means unfortunately he won't be able to do any of the 'meet and greets' with fans as Jedward normally would".

However, the incident has already caused the cancellation of a concert the boys were due to perform in the Longford Arms Hotel on Thursday night.

Their manager Louis Walsh and their team are concerned that the injury may affect Jedward’s preparation for the Eurovision which will take place on May 12th.
