Noel Gallagher has reportedly turned down a deal worth over £1 million to replace Simon Cowell on the judging panel for 'The X Factor' in the UK.
According to The Sun, the former Oasis star was initially told to "name his price" to join the talent show.
A source said: "Simon promised global fame and a crack at the US panel in future years."
"He was setting it up for him to make the show his own and fill his boots."
It was also claimed that Gallagher was offered a "head-spinning amount of cash" but was not interested in the job.
Gallagher reportedly said he wanted to continue focusing on his own music.
