Former 'Doctor Who' star David Tennant has become a father for the first time, it has been revealed.

According to the Daily Mail, the actor and his fiancée Georgia Moffett are thought to have named their daughter Olivia.

A source said: "Georgia and David could not be happier.

"Olivia is beautiful and their families are over the moon.

"They did very well in keeping everything very nearly private and keeping things under wraps. Georgia was a lot more pregnant than people thought when the news first broke."

It was only revealed in January that Tennant and Moffett were expecting a child, not long after it was reported that the pair had become engaged.

The couple met on the set of an episode of 'Doctor Who', in which Moffett - the real-life daughter of former Time Lord Peter Davison - played the Tenth Doctor's own child, Jenny.

Moffett already has a son, named Ty, although she has never publicly revealed the father's identity.
