New face Tommy spots Sian in the café and sets about chatting her up. Amused, Sian toys with him but when Sophie walks in, she is none too impressed.
Amid the fracas, Tyrone arrives and is introduced to Tommy Duckworth who explains he's looking for Jack. Tommy's gutted as Tyrone invites him back to the house, explaining that Jack died. The two lads then bond over a beer and a row with Kevin!
Meanwhile, Liz and Jim tell Steve why Richard is in the pub, prompting a row to break out as Steve loses his temper. Steve then firmly tells Richard that The Rovers is not for sale. Liz apologises to him but, as he goes, he gives her the ammunition to fight Steve. But as she uses it and Steve comes under fire, Jim has a shocking proposition of his own. Later in the week he reveals that he'd like to buy the pub himself but Steve sticks to his guns.
Elsewhere, the locals ask questions about Graeme and Xin's wedding they're forced to make up a few yarns about their 'relationship'. Seeing the opportunity to step in, Tommy sets his sights on Tina. Feeling alienated by Graeme and Xin, who are swotting up on each other's lives, Tina agrees to a drink with him back at Tyrone's house.
Sally makes her intentions towards Kevin clear and Cheryl and Leanne clash over the kids.
Becky wonders if they would be better starting fresh somewhere new with the kids, away from Tracy and Kylie. Steve's thrown, explaining that Tracy would never let him take Amy.
Meanwhile, Kevin's furious to discover that Tyrone's given Tommy a job valeting cars. Gail asks David how much he really knows about Kylie, asking why she never sees her son, and it plays on David's mind.
