King's Speech reigns at the Oscars

Widely regarded as the most glamorous awards ceremony in the world, the Oscars took place last night in Los Angeles' Kodak Theatre.
'The King's Speech' picked up the awards for Best Picture, Best Actor for Colin Firth, Best Director for Tom Hooper and Best Original Screenplay for David Seidler.
Firth told the audience: "I have a feeling my career has just peaked. My deepest thanks to the academy. I'm afraid I have to warn you that I'm experiencing stirrings somewhere in the upper abdominals which are threatening to form themselves into dance moves which joyous as they may be for me, it would be extremely problematic if they make it to my legs before I get off stage."
Firth thanked his fans, paying tribute to "all the people who have been rooting for me back home" and thanked his wife whom he said had put up with his "fleeting delusions of royalty".

Natalie Portman won the Best Actress award for 'Black Swan', with Melissa Leo winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in 'The Fighter'.
Portman tearfully paid tribute to the other actresses in her category saying she wished "the prize tonight was to get to work with my fellow nominees". She also spoke about the father of her unborn child, Benjamin Millepied, who she said had given her the "most important role of my life".
Leo's co-star Christian Bale also picked up his first Oscar, winning Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Dickie Eklund in 'The Fighter'.
Unfortunately, Irish hopeful Michael Creagh's film 'The Crush' lost out in the Short Live Action category, with the Oscar going to Luke Matheny's 'God of Love'.
'Toy Story 3' was named Best Animated Film, while 'Inside Job' won the award for Best Documentary Feature.
Also winning four awards in Hollywood last night was 'Inception', which won Best Cinematography, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and Visual Effects.
David Fincher's 'The Social Network' won three awards for Best Adapted Screenplay, Film Editing and Original Score.
The Oscar for Makeup went to 'The Wolfman' which starred Benicio del Toro and was presented by Cate Blanchett while the Costume Design award went to previous two-time winner Colleen Atwood for 'Alice in Wonderland'.

Chris and Riaz are at each other's throats as tensions in the group build during the final practice for the heist. A new person in charge of security rubs John up the wrong way and he worries that she may put the whole job at risk. Gina is offered a proper role in the heist and struggles with the decision to get fully involved. When she finally agrees, she is hit by the seriousness of what she is about to do. Both Gina and Marcus reflect on the risks they are taking and make a big decision as a result. The team start to worry about Chris as his movements become increasingly unpredictable - John thinks Chris may struggle to go through with the plan.
