Julia Roberts has been confirmed as one of the leading actors in the new 'The Brothers Grimm: Snow White', one of three rival Snow White projects in the works.
According to the Hollywood Reporter Roberts will star in the modern-edged film as the Evil Queen, which is to be directed by 'The Cell's Tarsem Singh.
The story, which is set for a June 2012 release, follows Snow White as she looks for payback along with her band of seven dwarves after her stepmother kills her father.
Elsewhere Disney is working on another movie, 'Snow White and the Huntsman', which is set in the 19th century and will reportedly see Charlize Theron in the role of the Evil Queen, as well as Kristen Stewart as Snow White.
